# Your First Session

> Five things to try the first time you open Maximus.

## Ask your first question

Click the Maximus prompt bar and ask something real. A good starting point:

> What's driving the price of Bitcoin right now?

Maximus pulls live news, market context, and technical analysis and gives you a direct answer without leaving HyperLiquid.

## Try a chart skill

Type `/` in the prompt bar. A menu of chart tools and skills appears. Use Tab to jump between groups.

Find **Resistance Levels** under Chart Tools and toggle it on. Maximus will draw auto-detected resistance zones directly on your chart. You'll see exactly where price has historically struggled to break through, without drawing a single line yourself.

Try the same with Support Levels and Weekly Closes.

## Trade with your voice

Click the voice button in the prompt bar and speak a trade command. Try something like:

> Long Bitcoin with 5% of my portfolio as a scaled order

Maximus interprets the instruction and executes it. You can type the same command if you prefer. Both work.

## What to explore next

There's more once you're comfortable with the basics:

* **Portfolio Review** — ask Maximus for a portfolio review to get a read on your overall performance across sessions
* **Magic Bar** — press ⌘ Shift K to open the command interface and research any asset, place any order, or ask any question
* **More chart skills** — type `/` at any point to browse the full list of available tools
* **Advanced order types** — when asking for order execution, try grid trading or iceberg orders for more control over how your position gets filled
